I’m back again. LOL. It’s so awesome to know I’m not the only one who’s down with “dysfunctional goodness.” Yay! I swear a lot of time it feels like I’m the odd one out because it seems all I can do is write is dysfunction. I guess I just need to own up to it and go with it.

Writing can be such a lonely endeavor so I really appreciate knowing you enjoy my work. Thanks, Krissy, for the boost.

I don’t have a release date yet. I’m not sure if you had a chance to read my “Reflection” post but if not—my mother-in-law was sick with cancer for almost 2 years. She stopped her chemo back in late November ’11 and things went downhill really quickly from there. I was able to squeeze in some writing between that time and February but from February to early April I hadn’t been able to write at all. (She passed March 9, 2012.)

Anyways, a lot of projects got put on hold during that time. Once I was able to write again, I started back on DDIII and I’m also finishing the almost-finished projects that I had worked on late 2011.

Long answer short: I’m putting my head down and working on getting DDIII finished and ready for edits. If all goes well it should be out in about 3-4 months. (That’s if everything goes well.)

I’ll definitely keep you guys posted and thanks so much for asking. It’s really great to know that you’re looking forward to it. Provides all kinds of motivation!

I am really happy for you that you are writing again. I really love your books and always check your site to see if anything new has come out. This one looks really good. I’m excited you are working on DDIII. I can’t wait until that’s released. I love Julian and Lily and all that dysfunctional goodness. I can’t wait to see what those two crazy kids are up to. LOL

I was just wondering if you have a release date for Devil’s Descent III? Do you have anymore sneak peeks? Please

Getting this short out is such a wonderful step back into my world that I’m so happy to have been able to do it. Yay! Besides, Marcus and Marguerite were so much fun to write that I had to go back to them. (I really have a hard time letting go of characters.)

I hope you enjoy it, Monique. I’m planning on losing myself this month in my stories so don’t be surprised to see more from me. (I have several almost-finished pieces from before my MIL passed that I feel up to finishing now. I also even started work back on DDIII and it was so awesome!)

I’m sorry to read about your loss. Reading how you miss your grandpa makes me wonder what my sons feel and will continue to feel about losing her. I’m just grateful they got the years they did with her. (My boys are 17 and 13.)

Also thanks for your sweet words in regards to my work. As I mentioned in the post, I wish I had been more confident about it so she could have read more than she did. I guess it’s a life lesson I had to learn the hard way.

Argh! My mouth is running away from me, Krissy. Thanks again for your kindness and I really appreciate it. Just writing that post yesterday helped loosen some of the tension inside me. I was able to think about my work again and even redesigned some covers.

I’m looking forward to getting back to work on DDIII and all my other little stories!
