The Vampire’s Secretary #1 Release

Estimated reading time: 2 – 4 minutes

*waves* Hello Everyone! I’m still busy balancing pen names (can definitely improve on that) and consolidating them when I can. D. Cristiana was originally going to have this story, but truthfully, having this many pen names is driving me mad. 😉 I think I have more than enough between Claudia, Anna, and Amelia. (I say this while contemplating adding another contemporary pen name. *sigh*)

Anyways, I started this short story a couple of years ago, put it away, and then had the inspiration to work on it again–and fell in love all over again with “The Vampire’s Secretary #1.”

It’s exclusive to Amazon & #Free to Kindle Unlimited readers and only $.99!

The Vampire's Secretary Part1_600x900

A Vampire, A Secretary, & Their Forbidden Love

My name is Luciana and I am a vampire’s secretary.
The world as humans knew it came to an end in the 21st century. Vampires rose from the ashes of our devastation and gained control of North America and much of Europe. Now four hundred years later, humans and vampires coexist in relative peace. As such, I am one of a handful of humans whose blood is rare enough to make me a perfect pet for these benevolent monsters.

His name is Charles Harcourt, Head of the House of Harcourt and CEO of Nibus.
My employer is beautiful. Mr. Harcourt has inky hair and emerald eyes that flash crimson when he hungers for my blood or my body. I know he’s beautiful for one reason–to be the ultimate predator. It doesn’t matter because I am a slave to my human instincts…especially my heart. And it is this heart that will be my downfall if I am not careful.

I am his perfect secretary, but he is the last man I should ever love.
Mr. Harcourt’s last secretary tried to kill him because she loved him too much. I’d rather die than to bring dishonor on his house or myself. But my love is growing and I’m afraid I can’t keep it secret any longer. Predator and prey sharing such close quarters–how can it turn out to be anything other than this infinite obsession?

PART ONE of a dark vampire romance serial.

Devil’s Descent III: divided Sneak Peek #5

Devil's Descent 1-3 Omnibus Cover

It’s been much too long, hasn’t it? I’m such a pokey writer and I’m always working on several projects and then new ones pop up. *whew* Anyways, here’s another snippet for Lily and Julian. Remember, this is a rough draft so changes may occur in the final version. I hope you all enjoy. :)

Julian rocked back on his heels, noting how easily Lily shed her clothes in his presence. He would’ve liked it better if she was naked, but this was enjoyable as well. Satisfaction trickled through his desiccated heart as he studied the very nice backside of his little toy. What Lily lacked in height she more than made up in proportion. Her lush body once more made a strong case to sway him against the slim, elongated lines he had always preferred.

Lily was built to be a concubine. She just doesn’t know it yet.

His hands quickly itched to touch her. Julian imagined pushing Lily to the ground. He pictured the look in her eyes and grew hard from imagination. Innocent madness lit within, red mouth parted in wonder as he entered her body one thick inch at a time, all serving to make his dark girl the loveliest he’d ever had the pleasure of bedding.

Lily, fucking you is going to be worth all of this. I’ll make you crave me so that it doesn’t matter how I fuck you—as long as I do. You’re a born masochist, darling, and it’s going to be so rewarding to show you how far I can take you.

Julian approached her, eyes hooded and lust pulling his nerves taut. She stiffened before continuing her movements. Lily’s dress was on, cinching her tiny waist and flaring out along her gorgeous hips. Her arms were at broken angles as she maneuvered the zipper. He reached out and brushed her fingers aside.

“Let me, darling.”

Lily took a second to answer, face stubbornly away from his gaze. “Sure.”

Julian closed his eyes, safe from her eerie stare, and slowly zipped her shut. Immense pleasure overtook him. Julian wished to be responsible for dressing and undressing her from that point on. He could adorn Lily in stockings, dresses, and heels for weeks to come. She’d have a different outfit for each hour, all chosen and worn solely for his favor. Julian would also buy jewels for her hair along with dainty netted hats.

He’d spoil her for sure. It would be a dark delight for as long as she lasted. His fangs lengthened, pricking his lips as his hands settled low on her hips.

He purred in answer.

“What are you doing?”

Her voice, tiny and tight as he imagined her cunt to be, thrummed high. Julian discomforted Lily with his closeness. He could be merciful and do something nasty to her. Perhaps yank her hair or scratch her smooth skin with a claw. Lily responded well to his vicious teasing. It set her firm on the path she thought she wanted to take towards him.

Stupid girl has a death wish.

Julian’s lips parted. He scented her. Lily’s essence entered his body, communicating with him in a way words could never fully explain. His eyelids drifted shut. This little female bedeviled him with her disrespect, temper, and with just being her.

So why was he so drawn to Lily? Why did he just want to stand here forever, at peace and in silence, no poisonous words dripping with malice running the current between them? Madness edged every bit of their interactions so that should be enough for him to keep distance.

Yet, here he was standing behind her simply holding onto her body. Not breaking her neck, not draining her for the sheer pleasure of feeding.

Lily Walker was a dangerous pill to take.

I’m brushing off the dust and poking my head in here. I can’t believe it’s been over a year since I posted here. What started off as yet another pen name project ended up being an incredible experience that opened up many doors for me–including landing me on the USA Today and New York Times lists on two different projects.

But I never did forget or stop loving my CDC stories, WIPs and especially Devil’s Descent. 🙂

So I’m easing back into CDC with a project that I’m in with 7 super-talented writers. My contribution is “Love Blind” and it’s been expanded by about 30 pages. Thirst: Tales of Vampire Romance is on sale for $.99 so grab it before the price goes up!

What’s Been Going On Spring 2013 Part 1

Estimated reading time: 5 – 8 minutes

Hello Everyone!

You haven’t seen or heard from me in a bit, have you? I’ve been neck deep in projects, graduation, writing, gardening, and all that good stuff. Our family came to visit to see my oldest son’s graduation. (Which took place a month ago today in fact.) I still can’t believe my baby is out of school, especially because I’m coming up on it being 20 years since I graduated. (Class of 1994.)

I worked like a fiend these past few months, enough so that I dropped some pounds before they crept back this last month. (Been writing like mad on a project and not doing a lot of moving around.) Anyways, I wanted to show you all how my Spring went. It’s pretty photo-intensive so I’ll be posting another part soon.

36th Birthday

I celebrated my b-day with loads of sweets and a trip to Ikea. Usually I only go once a year and usually only pick up a few things. This year I was ready to buy. Unfortunately our SUV was out of commission, so I could only pick up a few things again because I couldn’t carry much else in my convertible. 🙁 I got some awesome DVDs (gotta keep on top of the latest alien conspiracy), clothes, and some cool sneakers because I’d just about wore my black pair out. It was a nice day and I really love how my husband takes the day off so he can feed me to my heart’s content!

Closet Cleaning

If you’ve read any of my past postings, you probably know that my mother-in-law passed away last year after a 2 year battle with cancer. As you can imagine, everything fell apart during that time. I let my house get really junky and didn’t have the stamina or desire to deal with it.

This year we’ve all been coming back out of the fog and working hard to put things back in order or even better than they were before. Our master bedroom closet was one of those projects. It was so bad in there we could barely open up the door, much less do more than step over piles of stuff and toss our shoes in there.

I belatedly thought of taking pictures, so I didn’t get any before shots but did catch a few afters:

Spring Cherry Tree

We planted our Yoshino Cherry Tree for my 28th birthday. AC (my oldest) constantly called it a stick because it resembled one for a long time. Now, Yoshie (our name for him) has been in the ground for almost ten years and his spring time flowers are so beautiful! He’s truly my favorite tree of all time:

Kitchen Cabinets

I painted our kitchen cabinets Behr’s “Antique Ivory” this spring. I still need to do a few touch-ups but I’m so pleased with the results. I haven’t taken any pictures of the final look but I will soon. Meanwhile, here’s a few WIP shots:

Living Room

I did get a few shots of our living room after it was painted and prettified. The TV cords still work my nerves but that’s price I’m willing to pay for my entertainment. My cat Jaguar crashed the photo shoot but probably just made it better anyways. 😉

Annie Sloan Provence Paint

I love cruising around DIY/Home Decorating blogs so that’s how I found out about Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. I’d seen the painted pantry door posts for a bit and really wanted to do that for my own pantry. I wanted a vibrant color and the only way to achieve that richness of color (that I had seen) was to use Annie Sloan’s paint.

The thing is, I’m a very lean budget kind of gal, so the $40 price tag for a quart of paint, plus the $35.00 for Light Wax and Dark Wax (each) really was an unusual splurge for me. Huge. But thankfully I had the cash to indulge my longing. My pictures really don’t do justice to how gorgeous this color is.

At first I just painted it Provence without antiquing it. Unfortunately, I just felt like something was missing. It wasn’t quite there. So I decided to go and bust out the wax (which I’m so glad I bought) to see if I could make it pop. I loved it! AC, did not. The first thing he said when he and Dominic got home from school was “What did you do? You ruined it!”

Pfft. No way, CC. No way.

Spring Porch

My front porch had been sadly neglected for quite some time. It was just something we passed through to get into the house. This spring I decided to scrub it down, repaint a old table, use the chairs I spray painted last summer, and spray paint some other little things. The azaleas were blooming and it was just a nice spot.

Okay, that’ll do it for this post. I’ll be back soon with another one. 🙂 I’m also thinking about getting a Facebook page for this site, but I’m not sure yet. (I’ve been FB resistant for so long!) It’ll probably make things easier instead of blogging, because you all know how great I am at that. *eye roll*

See you soon!

Mad for the Billionaire eBook Release

Estimated reading time: 4 – 7 minutes

4-27-13: I’ve had to re-title this piece from “An Unwanted Obsession” to “Mad for the Billionaire.” I’m really sorry for any confusion.

Hello Everyone! I’m back again with a Charlotte DeCorte release. (This is the one I was talking about here.) I tried my hand at a sci-fi billionaire with Amelia and Charlotte wanted to take her melancholy turn at it as well. 😉 So here we go:

Alexander Monroe Draven II had been my everything. My first love, my first man, my first heartbreak…

My first taste of madness.

Certain we were doomed to fail, I walked out on the love of my life nine years before and painstakingly constructed another persona. One who was poised, even-tempered, and outwardly bore no resemblance to the broken girl forever pining for a love that wasn’t meant to be.

It had become my shell for so long I could almost believe it, despite the long nights of searching out Alexander’s electronic footprint as he became one of the most wealthiest men in tech. However, my facade shattered when he’d bought out the company I worked for just as it was on the brink of collapse. Alexander didn’t let me avoid him, easily capturing me in plain sight and maneuvering it so I would have lunch with him. I let my guard down, thinking I could control myself around him.

I was wrong. Now the man I still loved with frightening intensity wanted me back, but that wasn’t all he wanted.

“I want you on the floor, kneeling at my feet.”

Alexander wanted total control over me or nothing at all. And I only had one minute to make my decision…

NOTE: This is a 24,400 word novella (approximately 88 pages.)

A killing-soft smile landed at the corners of his lips. He waited, patient and watchful. Where was he going with this? What was he trying to prove that he hadn’t already proved a million times before? There was only one way to find out.

“Fine.” I walked over to him, fixated on the beacon of his arm. Chin up and defiance oozing with every rigid step until I stood at his knee. “Happy now?” I snapped, doing little to be gracious over my capitulation.

“Not by a long shot, baby.” Alexander appraised me, doing nothing to disguise it. “I never cared for your anger before. I saw it as something to be eliminated and subdued. Now I know the great potential it has for us both.”

Warmth drizzled, softening my insolence. My belly clenched. My nipples tightened to twin points, vividly remembering the hot tug of Alexander’s lips. The urge to cross my arms and cover my chest tangled with the urge to rip off my shirt.

Push, pull, want, deny. Seductive madness could only lie this way.

“Sophia, I want you to do something for me.”

I coughed, trying to disguise my body’s response as an aberration. “Yes?”

“I want you to sit down.”

“Okay.” I turned to find the nearest chair.

“Stop.” Alexander waited silently until I looked back at him, eyebrow raised quizzically. “Not there.”

“Then where?”

Alexander pointed to the floor. I followed his finger, seeing his polished, leather shoes and the empty space before them.

I shook my head and backed away. “On the floor?”

“Yes. I want you on the floor, kneeling at my feet.”

I reached out to steady myself. My fingertips dug into the side of the desk. “You want me at your feet.”

Alexander tilted his head. “Because it would please me.”

Jesus fucking Christ!

Violent lust ricocheted through my body, instantly piercing my core. I tightened my thighs, finding perverse, thrilling pleasure in the idea of obeying him. My mind whirled into overdrive, looking for any reason to drown out the instinct demanding I obey.

“Are you serious, Alexander? You’re not joking with me?”

He stared me down, mouth tight and eyes blazing with implacable domination. “On your knees. Now.”

My knees buckled. Still keeping hold of the desk, I sank down, down, down, until my legs folded beneath me. My heart hammered, beating so hard against my chest I wasn’t sure if I wanted to scream in fear or delight.

“Breathe, Sophia.”

“I…I…am.” Fear gripped me strong. My panicked gaze jumped around. I couldn’t believe what I had done. Worse, how come it felt so right?

Alexander’s warm hand cupped my chin. “You’re doing beautifully, Sophia. Look at me. I said look at me. Now just breathe for me. In and out. That’s it. Good girl.”

I patterned my breathing after his. Lost in his black gaze, I watched the world fall away. Nothing existed but him.

The Alien Billionaire’s Pet eBook Release

Estimated reading time: 4 – 7 minutes

Hello Everyone! I’m on a blogging roll. Three posts in two days? Wow. So you may have read in a couple of other posts about my latest pen name, Amelia Amberson. Being that I use my names, not for secrecy, but more as branding I needed Amelia. I’ve had a thing for alien hybrids forever. They’re exotic, sexy, and fascinating. I lovingly blame Lotor from Voltron for my fascination with villains. Oh, and Johnny Depp in The Astronaut’s Wife. (I’ll probably have to do a post on that soon. 🙂 ) Anyways, I needed Amelia to explore my scifi erotica/erotic romance side since it didn’t seem to fit with Claudia, Charlotte, or D. Cristiana.

Hence, Amelia Amberson.

So onto my amalgamation of aliens and billionaires. 50 Shades has inspired a whole slew of serials, novels, and shorts all surrounding dominant billionaires. I absolutely wanted to try my hand at it, but with a scifi twist. Hence the direct title: The Alien Billionaire’s Pet.

One minute I was a girl new to the city and out for Chinese. The next I was fighting for my life. Just when I thought I was about to become another statistic, Kristophe Maximillian Cross burst into the alley and saved me by killing my attacker. Without ever physically touching him to do it.

“Your choices are limited. Stay here and face the authorities. Come with me and you agree to obey me. Which do you choose?”

I should’ve been afraid of this gorgeous stranger dressed in a suit, especially because of his eyes. Blacker than black they proved he wasn’t human, even though his perfect face was everything I could ever want in a man. Regardless, Kristophe risked exposure to save me and maybe that’s why I followed him home.

Immensely wealthy and handsome beyond compare, Kristophe made it clear I belonged to him and he expected perfect obedience from his newfound pet. That first night he fed me, spoiled me with attention, and uncovered my submissive nature with one word: Master.

Obedience got fiery kisses and touches that left me begging for more. Disobedience got punishment. And I experienced it all in just a day.

It was one day in my life, but it was ‘the’ day when I fully became my Master’s pet and he became my greatest love…

Note: This is a 28,000 word novella (approximately 94 pages).

“Do you understand, pet?”

“Yes.” The word tasted dry, brittle. Full of failure and helplessness.

“I hope that you do and don’t test me.” His fingers released my chin and slid across my mouth. They pressed down into the fleshiness of my full lower lip. Electricity flowed between us, sudden and powerful.

I gasped. Warmth slithered across my body, pulsing like liquid flame. Sexual desire dampened my folds and tightened my nipples into hard, aching points beneath his coat. That I understood, even if I was disturbed by the physical reaction.

What I didn’t understand or had experienced since my mother’s passing was the intense closeness. It was as if this strange man dipped inside me for a bit and actually felt me. All of me. Not the numb victimized me or the cagey monosyllabic me.

Just me.

The person I don’t remember being but someone I surely had been once upon a time, a long, long time ago. Someone full of love and potential and joy.

“You feel it, don’t you?”

I nodded, overcome with the sensation of Kristophe’s imprint.

“That’s because you’re not resisting. Not even a little bit.” The pads of his fingertips brushed my warm cheek. “Such a good girl I have here. I can already tell that you and I will get along beautifully, pet.”

My eyelids slid shut. His touch continued to wrap around me much like his coat. I experienced the heady intoxication of feeling safe, protected, and nurtured.

I could become addicted to it. To him for giving it to me.

A chime interrupted. He released me, severing the strange connection immediately. He pushed the silver button to activate the partition. “Yes, Meyers?”

“We’ll be approaching the restaurant in about three minutes. The order should be ready by the time we get there, sir.”

“Thank you, Meyers.”

“Yes, sir.”

Although the exchange lasted a few seconds, it was enough time for me to get my bearings. I looked down at my lap, foolishly wondering if I had imagined it all.

The emptiness in my body told the truth. So did the wetness between my naked thighs. I didn’t understand how I could feel lust, especially so shortly after what almost happened to me, but I felt it. I imagine that if Kristophe had pushed me down onto my back, I would’ve happily stayed there and opened my legs for whatever he wanted.

Strawberries, Aliens, & Sneak Peak

Estimated reading time: 4 – 6 minutes

Hello, Everyone! As I mentioned in my last post, I’ve been working on a bazillion house projects and writing projects. When I’m not playing with Julian & Lily from DDIII as Claudia, I’m dipping my mental pen in several different universes.

Charlotte has been visiting the Billionaire landscape about a childhood sweetheart couple who loved too much, broke up (twice!), and finally come back together to find a BDSM love story.

D. Cristiana has trespassed onto Claudia’s territory by exploring a dystopian future where a human woman agrees to become a vampire’s secretary. Angst, blood, and strangeness abound.

Amelia loves all things alien hybrid. Put saving a girl, D/S, spankings, alien hybrids, billionaire status, and you have this:

“Come here.” He pointed to the spot next to him. When I didn’t move he growled, “Now.”

That worked in making me bend to his will. Cautious, I scooted over. His cool hand cupped my chin, tightening when I tried to draw away.

“Don’t ever lie to me, pet. Not only is it futile, it is one of the few things that draws my anger. I say this for your benefit—don’t make me angry.”

My heart thudded hard. His stare flickered, showing me the ebony hiding beneath the human orbs.

“What exactly are you?”

Maybe he was a demon like on all those TV shows? The black eyes definitely supported it. Or a robot? Logic seemed to be his go-to way of being and talking. No, scratch that. He was too warm to be a robot. Unless he was some kind of government project that escaped. Although I’d never read about A.I. being this advanced, anything was possible.

He smirked again. “You’ll learn soon enough. For now I’m Master to you in all things and especially when you’re in my bed—but only if you’ve been a good girl.”

A blush flamed across my cheeks and throat. Master? In his bed? Good girl? While certainly no virgin, I could count on one hand the amount of partners I’d had. None of them were ever so presumptuous to assume out loud I would grace his bed sheets.

Yet, his presumptuous wasn’t the same. It was a fact. Non-negotiable. We both knew it.

This should be out in the next day or so. 🙂

Which brings me to this. I have Netflix (which I love) and it wasn’t until I was done with my Amelia story that I fell back in passionate love with a TV show cut too early. Roswell. Oh, how I loved that show! Alien hybrids, true love in the form of Max and Liz, hot love in the form of Michael and Maria, conspiracies, intrigue, love triangles (kinda), and it was awesome!

I remember first seeing the promo on WB back when I actually lived in a town called Roswell. 😉

If you’ve never seen it, I highly recommend checking it out. It seriously has aged very well and Michael and Maria are still just as fiery and hot a couple as I’ve ever seen. Max and Liz are still the sweetest ever. They inspire me to one day give a sweet love story a try…

Speaking of sweet, the other night I made these for the first time:

Nummy little cakes!

I loved it and couldn’t believe I’ve gone almost thirty-six years without ever making this angel food cake/cup, whipped topping, strawberry treat.

Neither did this little feline punk (at least the whipped topping anyways):

That is Persephone, or Baby Persephone as she’s known around here. She’s much smaller than the rest of our feline brood and the youngest so she gets Baby as part of her name. She’s also the flirtiest and the naughtiest. Needless to say our treat wasn’t ruined–only the whipped topping.  >.< Bad cat!

So that’s what’s been going on around here. See you all again soon!
